Yoav Nagar, D.C., CCSP

Yoav Nagar, D.C., CCSP graduated cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1997. He continued his post-graduate studies and became certified as a specialist in the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. As he developed and grew his practice, Dr. Nagar noted that most of his patients came to him with a common complaint: they were forced to return to other doctors for multiple visits and repeat adjustments, none of which truly alleviated their pain for a substantial period of time. In contrast, Dr. Nagar wanted to create a system that would shift the focus of patient care to rehabilitation, in essence, to locate and address the weakness that creates instability in the body. Traditional rehabilitation focuses on movement within a single plane. Our rehabilitation techniques, in contrast, offers an effective method of restructuring and re-balancing the body and incorporates movement in three planes that teach the body to work as a single unit, explains Dr. Nagar. This is a much more functional approach to rehabilitation.

Dr. Nagar's technique blends several different philosophies to create a system that is highly effective in providing patients with long-term pain relief and improved health, but the short-term benefits are also easy to observe. Most patients enjoy dramatic improvement in as little as six weeks.

One of Dr. Nagar's method of rehabilitation offered at the clinic is DNS. Dr. Nagar has been studying DNS under the world renowned professor from Prague named pavel kolar. Prof. Kolar revolutionary technique is based on the brain's genetic information of developmental kinesiology. Dr. Nagar has been following Prof. Kolar for the past five years both in the US and in Prague.

Besides DNS, Dr. Nagar is a certified provider of Active Release technique. Graston technique and Certified in Kinesio Taping.

Dr. Nagar plays an active role in overseeing the practice daily operation. He continues to hone and refine his techniques while still seeing patients regularly. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and the author of several articles on Pilates training techniques.

Olivia Henry

I was first introduced to Pilates at a very young age as a competitive dancer and continued with it, on and off throughout my dancing career. It wasn’t until I endured an acute back injury which came close to ending my vocation indefinitely that I decided to pick up Pilates as a lifestyle rather than an occasional sport.

My training towards recuperation began with a Physical Therapist who was highly practiced in the Pilates method, particularly Power Pilates, who in turn inspired me to become an instructor due to my outstanding success in my own personal recovery and my evident love of the practice of Pilates. He took me under his wing and trained me as an instructor, airing on the side of physical therapy, and consequently, I not only work wonderfully with clients who have special needs outside of the Pilates structure, but also those who simply desire a rigorous Pilates regimen.

I then furthered my training with Body Arts and Science International (BASI) and I am fully certified through their program on all apparatus's as well as mat. I have since continued my journey through Pilates with an open mind and a passionate spirit, learning in each new environment as I go.

It is with an unfaltering confidence that I extend my certified training, my many years of experience, and a genuine love for helping others craft themselves inwardly and outwardly with a knack for pushing them to their full potential, that I offer my services to you. So get ready to work!
